Position: Associate Transportation Designer
Location: IMT Manesar
Qualification: B.Des./M.Des. in Industrial or Mobility (Transportation) Design
Experience: 2-5 years in Railways/Automotive/Transportation Design fields
Job Description / Responsibilities:
· Strong interest and background in the Railways & Transportation industry.
· Should be able to work on different kinds of project and have zeal to learn on the job and challenge the orthodox methods to come up with new design solutions.
· Should have interest in public transportation & space systems.
· An intricate knowledge and understanding of Materials & Finishes is beneficial.
· Be capable of handling timelines and deliver the stated work in time.
- Knowledge of 3D design software/s is mandatory.
· Should have worked in various industrial design projects, automotive interiors would be preferred.
· Good verbal and written communication skills are essential as the incumbent will also interface with the clients.
- Reporting and updating the reporting manager on a regular basis.
- Taking ownership of the projects
- Should be updated with latest trends, materials, and technologies.
- Should follow all the code of conduct and rules of the company.
- Participate in team meetings and design reviews, offering insights and suggestions to enhance project outcomes.
This is a very challenging and creative job and persons with only creative bent of mind should apply, this can be addictive.
Skills: Able to create out of the box concepts and know how to execute in the real world.
Excellent Sketching and Rendering.
2D & 3D design software execution is a must.
Understanding of Design for Manufacturing.
Prototyping knowledge is appreciated.
Knowledge and Understanding for current Design & Engineering trends and practices.
