Company Description Youvati is a mobile-first, multilingual super-app that enables women micro-entrepreneurs in India’s informal economy to digitize, manage, and grow their businesses. The platform integrates contextual skilling, business management tools, marketing support, peer networking, and access to micro-capital within a single, easy-to-use application. Serving over 18,000 women entrepreneurs across multiple states, Youvati has disbursed ₹45.6 lakhs in zero-interest returnable grants to more than 280 women-led micro-enterprises, expanding access to critical working capital. Purpose-built for low-income and low-digital-literacy users, the app focuses on trust, ease of adoption, and sustained engagement at the last mile. Youvati is the winner of the Bharat Livelihood Challenge 2025 and is incubated by IIMA Ventures, the incubation arm of IIM Ahmedabad, with grant support and structured mentorship.
Role Description The Associate, Marketing and Communications is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. This role involves supporting the development and execution of integrated marketing and communications campaigns to increase awareness and adoption of the Youvati app among women micro-entrepreneurs and ecosystem partners. The associate will draft and refine marketing content for digital channels, social media, and offline outreach, including press releases, newsletters, and campaign collateral. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams and external partners, managing timelines and deliverables, monitoring engagement metrics, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across all touch-points. The role also includes responding to user queries in coordination with customer support teams, gathering feedback from the field, and contributing insights to improve communication strategies and user engagement.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication across diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in marketing and marketing communications, with the ability to support integrated campaigns and brand positioning.
- Ability to draft and manage press releases and media-facing content, including basic understanding of PR processes.
- Customer service orientation, with experience handling queries and feedback in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Demonstrated interest in impact-driven work, especially in livelihoods, gender equity, or financial inclusion.
- Proficiency in English; working knowledge of Hindi and/or other Indian languages is an advantage.
- Comfort working with digital tools, social media platforms, and basic analytics to track campaign performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
