Role Description The Associate Architect will support the design and development of AI-powered solutions that translate architectural plans into interactive 3D environments. This full-time hybrid role is based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for partial work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with architects and engineers to refine floor plans, contributing to architectural design standards for the platform, and ensuring that 3D outputs align with real-world construction requirements. The role also involves working closely with software developers to define integration requirements, testing product features from an architectural perspective, and providing input on product roadmap and usability. The Associate Architect will participate in project planning, coordinate with internal stakeholders and clients, and document design guidelines and best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to interpret complex 2D plans and translate them into clear 3D representations.
- Exposure to or experience with Software Development processes, collaborating with engineering teams, and understanding how architectural data flows into digital products.
- Experience with Integration of design tools, BIM or CAD workflows, and related systems to ensure smooth data exchange and compatibility.
- Proven Project Management capabilities, including planning, coordination, timeline tracking, and communication with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in CAD/BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and familiarity with 3D visualization tools; experience with real-time rendering or game engines is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a user-focused mindset.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in cross-functional, fast-paced teams.
- Interest in AI, proptech, and emerging technologies in architecture and construction; prior experience in SaaS or tech-enabled design environments is advantageous.
