Role Description The AUTOCAD 3D 2D Architect will work on-site in Bengaluru in a full-time capacity, contributing to the design and detailing of luxury farmhouses and associated landscape elements. This role involves preparing precise 2D and 3D architectural drawings in AutoCAD, developing construction drawings, and coordinating with design and engineering teams to ensure design intent is accurately translated on-site. The architect will support space planning for interiors and exteriors, integrating functional requirements with Avillion Farms’ aesthetic and luxury standards. Daily responsibilities include revising drawings based on feedback, aligning designs with local regulations and project specifications, and collaborating with project managers, consultants, and site teams. The role requires regular presence at the project site to understand on-ground constraints and ensure design solutions are practical and buildable.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings to produce accurate plans, sections, elevations, and detailed working drawings.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Drawing and Space Planning to design layouts that optimize functionality, circulation, and aesthetics for luxury residential and landscape spaces.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and site staff, and to present design concepts clearly.
- Advanced skills in AutoCAD (2D and 3D); familiarity with additional design tools such as SketchUp, Revit, or 3D visualization software is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field, with relevant experience in residential or luxury projects; professional licensure or registration is an advantage.
- Knowledge of building codes, local regulations, construction materials, and site coordination practices in Bengaluru or similar contexts.
- Ability to work on-site full-time, manage multiple design iterations, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced project environment.
