Role Description The Assistant Sales Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Greater Delhi Area. This role supports the sales function by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and helping to close corporate travel and event management deals. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to sales inquiries, preparing proposals and quotations, coordinating with operations and account management teams, and ensuring accurate documentation in CRM and reporting tools. The Assistant Sales Manager will collaborate on sales campaigns, support client presentations and negotiations, monitor market trends, and contribute to revenue growth and customer retention. The role also involves maintaining high standards of customer service, following company policies, and participating in regular team meetings and performance reviews.
Qualifications
- Sales and business development skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing.
- Client relationship and customer service skills, with the ability to understand corporate travel needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, presentation abilities, and professional email etiquette.
- Organizational and analytical skills, such as attention to detail, data interpretation, reporting, and time management.
- Familiarity with corporate travel, hospitality, or event management services; experience in a similar industry or role is preferred.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, MS Office or Google Workspace, and basic sales and productivity tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model in the Greater Delhi Area, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
