Role Description The Assistant Professor of Management will be a full-time, on-site faculty member based at CT Group of Institutions in Jalandhar. The role includes planning and delivering lectures in management subjects, guiding students through case studies, projects, and presentations, and maintaining regular office hours for academic mentoring. The faculty member will design and update course curricula in alignment with industry trends and accreditation standards, participate in departmental meetings, and contribute to academic planning. Responsibilities also include conducting and publishing research, engaging in institutional activities, supporting student development initiatives, and collaborating with colleagues on conferences, seminars, and outreach programs.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong expertise in Organizational Behavior and related management disciplines.
- Candidates should possess skills in Curriculum Development and course design aligned with academic and industry standards.
- Candidates should possess solid Research skills, including the ability to conduct studies, publish in journals, and guide student research.
- Candidates should possess experience in University Teaching, including classroom instruction, evaluation, and academic mentoring.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Marketing and its application in management education.
- Postgraduate degree (e.g., MBA, Master’s in Management) in a relevant field; PhD or enrollment in a doctoral program is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to teach diverse learners using modern pedagogical and digital tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and administration, contribute to academic committees, and support institutional initiatives.
- Prior teaching or industry experience in management is an advantage.
