Role Description The Maths Faculty role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Kolkata Area. The faculty member will design and deliver engaging mathematics lessons aligned with NEET-oriented curricula, including live classroom sessions, problem-solving workshops, and doubt-clearing sessions. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, creating practice questions and assignments, evaluating student performance, and providing individualized feedback and mentoring. The role also involves collaborating with other subject experts to refine course content, participating in academic planning meetings, and supporting the continuous improvement of teaching methodologies and learning materials.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, with the ability to teach core and advanced concepts clearly.
- Knowledge of related disciplines such as Physics and Statistics to support integrated NEET-focused problem solving.
- Experience in Curriculum Development, including structuring modules, assessments, and learning outcomes for competitive exams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a closely related field; teaching experience in NEET or other competitive exam preparation is an advantage.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple, student-friendly manner, with strong classroom management and mentoring skills.
- Comfort with using educational technology platforms and digital tools to enhance instruction and track learner progress.
- Commitment to inclusive, learner-centered teaching and readiness to work flexible hours aligned with student needs.
