Organization Description Saffrony Institute of Technology Campus, comprising S.P.B. Patel Degree and Diploma Engineering Colleges, offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in engineering and is approved by the Government of Gujarat, affiliated with Gujarat Technological University, and recognized by UGC and AICTE. Role Description The Assistant Professor in Electronics & Communication will be responsible for delivering lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions in core and elective subjects, ensuring effective coverage of the curriculum and engaging learners with clear, student-centered instruction. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, developing course materials, assessing student performance through assignments, exams, and projects, and providing academic advising and mentoring support. The role involves guiding undergraduate and postgraduate projects, participating in research activities, contributing to departmental initiatives, and supporting accreditation, quality assurance, and co-curricular events. The Assistant Professor will collaborate with colleagues to update curricula, integrate emerging technologies, and maintain laboratories and related teaching resources. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mehsana, requiring regular presence on campus for teaching, meetings, and student interaction.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Strategic Communications skills for effective classroom teaching, student mentoring, and academic collaboration.
- Candidates should possess Curriculum Development and University Teaching skills to design courses, deliver lectures, and conduct laboratory and project-based learning in Electronics & Communication.
- Candidates should possess Research skills to contribute to scholarly publications, funded projects, innovation activities, and continuous academic improvement.
- Relevant qualifications such as an M.E./M.Tech or Ph.D. in Electronics & Communication or a closely related discipline, with strong academic records.
- Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies, educational technologies, and outcome-based education, along with the ability to guide student projects and internships.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a department, contribute to institutional development activities, and participate in seminars, conferences, and industry interactions.
- Industry exposure, professional certifications, or experience with advanced tools and software
