Role Description The Assistant Merchandiser is a full-time, on-site role based in Moradabad. This role supports the merchandising team with product planning, coordination between production and sales, and tracking orders to ensure timely delivery. Daily responsibilities include preparing product and order reports, assisting with sample development, monitoring inventory levels, and maintaining accurate documentation for internal and customer use. The Assistant Merchandiser also collaborates with sales and marketing teams to align product availability with customer demand and provides support in responding to customer inquiries related to products and orders.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers, and to maintain clear documentation.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, resolve issues professionally, and support positive client relationships.
- Candidates should possess Sales and Retail skills to understand product positioning, assist with order follow-ups, and support merchandising decisions.
- Candidates should possess Marketing skills to help align product presentation and assortment with market trends and customer preferences.
- Attention to detail, basic data entry and reporting skills, and proficiency with MS Office or similar tools.
- Ability to work on-site in Moradabad, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Relevant education in merchandising, business, or a related field is preferred; prior experience in merchandising or manufacturing is an advantage.
