Role Description: The Assistant Manager Treasury will oversee day-to-day treasury operations, including cash flow management, banking relationships, and liquidity planning to support the company’s manufacturing and business activities.
This full-time, on-site role based in Pune District involves monitoring daily cash positions, managing fund transfers, optimizing use of credit facilities, and ensuring accurate and timely reconciliations of bank accounts.
Responsible for renewal of variuos credit facilities, Expertise in trade operations like LC, BG, SBLC, suppliers credit, bill discounting and factoring.
The role includes preparing treasury-related reports and forecasts, supporting risk management activities, and assisting in foreign exchange and investment transactions.
Preparing Stock statement, Unhedged Fx report, Due Diligence report and EDPMS/ IDPMS closure activities and coordination.
The Assistant Manager Treasury will collaborate with finance, accounting, and operational teams to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements, and contribute to process improvements in treasury workflows.
The individual will also support senior leadership with data-driven insights to enhance financial efficiency and stability.
This role will reports to Head Treasury.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of treasury operations, including cash flow management, liquidity and investment planning, Accounting and banking processes.
- Sound knowledge of debt management, hedging instruments like forwards and swaps.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and preparation of treasury-related reports and dashboards.
- Comfort with ERP systems and treasury management tools, along with strong MS Excel, SAP and data handling skills.
- Knowledge of relevant FEMA and RBI frameworks.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field with 6-7 years of relevent experience in Corporate Treasury field ; a professional qualification (e.g., MBA in Finance, CA/ICWA intermediate) is an advantage.
