Job Purpose
Managing IT operations with a strong focus on IT compliance, procurement, asset management, audit readiness, and infrastructure support while ensuring secure, reliable, and cost-effective IT services across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead IT procurement activities, including requirement gathering, technical evaluations, RFQs/RFPs, vendor selection, purchase coordination, and contract/AMC renewals.
- Manage the complete lifecycle of IT assets, including inventory, allocation, audits, warranty tracking, and disposal.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, internal IT policies, information security guidelines, and statutory/regulatory requirements.
- Lead internal and external IT audits, maintain audit documentation, and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Develop and maintain IT policies, SOPs, asset registers, software license records, and compliance documentation.
- Manage IT vendors and monitor service delivery, SLAs, and contract performance.
- Oversee day-to-day IT infrastructure, including servers, network, firewall, Microsoft 365, endpoint devices, backup, and security solutions.
- Lead the IT support team, assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure timely resolution of user issues.
- Manage IT budgets, software license renewals, and optimize IT spending.
- Ensure business continuity through regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and security best practices.
- Prepare MIS reports, procurement reports, compliance reports, and management dashboards.
- Recommend and implement process improvements, automation, and technology upgrades to enhance operational efficiency.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of IT Procurement, Vendor Management, and Contract Management.
- Experience with ISO audits, IT compliance, and documentation.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, Microsoft 365, firewalls, and endpoint security.
- Experience in IT Asset & Inventory Management.
- Strong documentation, analytical, communication, and team management skills.
Experience
- 05–8 years of progressively responsible experience in IT infrastructure, IT operations, vendor management, information security, and enterprise systems.
- At least 1–2 years in a managerial or team leadership role.
Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science and Information Technology or equivalent from a recognized university or
- MCA/ MBA (IT/Systems) or PG Diploma in Information Systems
- Professional certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft Azure/M365, ISO 27001, CISA, PMP, or Cisco certifications will be an added advantage.
