Role Description The Assistant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the insurance brokerage. This position involves overseeing client servicing activities, coordinating with insurance providers, and ensuring timely processing of proposals, renewals, and claims. The Assistant Manager will assist in managing a small team, monitoring performance, and maintaining high standards of customer experience. The role also includes preparing reports, supporting sales and retention initiatives, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with senior management to improve processes, enhance service quality, and contribute to business growth.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong client relationship management skills, POS requritment and sales closures coordination including the ability to communicate clearly, handle queries, and provide consultative support.
- Candidates should possess operational and administrative skills, such as process coordination, documentation management, and attention to detail.
- Candidates should possess basic financial and analytical skills, including interpreting insurance products, comparing plans, and preparing business reports.
- Candidates should possess team coordination and leadership skills to support staff, allocate tasks, and maintain service standards.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic digital tools used for insurance processing and reporting.
- Relevant experience in insurance, financial services, or customer-facing roles is highly beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong ethical standards, reliability, and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment are essential.
