Role Description The Assistant Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Nagpur. The role involves overseeing day-to-day operations within the assigned department, ensuring adherence to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include coordinating with cross-functional teams, monitoring performance metrics, preparing reports, and supporting senior management in planning and executing operational and strategic initiatives. The Assistant Manager will assist in resource allocation, workflow optimization, and process improvement to enhance efficiency and service quality. The role also includes mentoring team members, addressing operational issues promptly, and maintaining clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong operational management and coordination skills, with the ability to oversee day-to-day activities and ensure smooth departmental functioning.
- Experience in process improvement, reporting, and performance monitoring, including the use of basic analytical tools for data-driven decision-making.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and team leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and guide team members.
- Understanding of safety standards, regulatory compliance, and quality control practices, preferably within the energy, fuel, or industrial sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; relevant experience in operations or management roles is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office and comfort with digital tools for documentation, reporting, and coordination.
- Ability to work on-site in Nagpur, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
