About the Role
We are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Accounts Payable to manage
and strengthen our accounts payable operations at Flo. The ideal candidate must have experience
working with a D2C product-based company and should be comfortable handling large volumes of
transactions, vendor payments, data, and financial analysis in a fast-paced business environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, vendor payments,
reconciliations, and expense tracking.
• Lead and guide the accounts payable team, ensuring accuracy, timely closures, and adherence to
internal controls.
• Work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders across procurement, supply chain, and
operations to resolve payment and reconciliation-related queries.
• Analyse financial data and identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to make AP operations faster, more accurate,
and scalable.
• Ensure proper documentation, compliance, and adherence to finance processes and controls.
What We’re Looking For
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role.
• Mandatory experience in a D2C product-based company.
• At least 1.5–2 years of experience leading or managing a team.
• Excellent command over data, numbers, analysis, and Excel.
• Hands-on experience with Tally is mandatory.
• Experience in finance process automation and implementing efficiency-driven solutions.
• Working knowledge of Claude and other AI tools, with the ability to apply them to automate
workflows and improve productivity.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• High attention to detail, ownership, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
