Role Description The Assistant role at Rawani & Co. is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The Assistant will support audit and taxation assignments by preparing working papers, organizing documentation, and assisting with data entry and reconciliations. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with senior team members, maintaining client files, tracking deadlines for ROC and tax filings, and helping with basic research and report drafting. The role also involves handling routine office administrative tasks related to client communication, scheduling, and record keeping to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong numerical ability and basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Candidates should possess skills in documentation, data entry, and attention to detail for audit and tax-related work.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word) and the ability to learn accounting and tax software.
- Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with team members and clients professionally.
- Candidates should possess good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
- Candidates should possess a willingness to learn, follow professional standards, and maintain confidentiality in all assignments.
- A commerce or accounting-related diploma or degree is preferred; prior internship or experience in a CA firm will be an added advantage.
