Role Description The Assembly Technician role at Unique Solution is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The technician will assemble electro-mechanical components and systems according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and safety standards. Daily tasks include using hand and power tools, performing mechanical assembly, basic soldering, and verifying that assemblies meet quality and performance requirements. The role involves inspecting parts, identifying defects, and collaborating with supervisors and team members to resolve issues and improve processes. The Assembly Technician is also responsible for maintaining a clean, organized work area and following all safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Mechanical Assembly and general electro-mechanical fabrication.
- Candidates should possess practical experience with Hand Tools and Power Tools used in assembly operations.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Soldering for electrical connections where required.
- Candidates should possess a strong focus on Quality Control, inspection, and adherence to specifications.
- Relevant technical diploma or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electro-Mechanical disciplines is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Attention to detail, safety awareness, and ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
- Prior experience in assembly or manufacturing settings, especially in electro-mechanical projects, is an advantage.
