Role Description The Article Trainee will support audit and data quality projects on a full-time basis at our on-site office in Delhi, India. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in planning and executing audits, collecting and validating data from client locations, and helping with inventory checks, stock verification, and documentation. The role involves preparing working papers, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the audit team with compliance reviews, internal control checks, and reporting. The Article Trainee will also coordinate with clients for required information, contribute to field visits such as plant, depot, and market audits, and support ESG and background verification activities. This position offers hands-on exposure to professional audit practices and structured learning under the guidance of experienced team members.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret data accurately and identify inconsistencies.
- Candidates should possess good documentation and reporting skills, including basic proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and presentation tools.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills to handle multiple assignments effectively.
- Candidates should possess clear written and verbal communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
- Candidates should possess a willingness to travel for on-site audits, along with adaptability to field work and varying environments.
- Candidates should possess a learning mindset, ethical work practices, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Enrollment in or completion of a commerce, accounting, finance, or related degree program is preferred; prior internship or training experience in audit or finance is an added advantage.
