Role Description The Article Assistant will work full time on-site at the Indore office, supporting the audit, taxation, and advisory teams in day-to-day assignments. Responsibilities include assisting in GST, direct tax, and international tax (including FEMA and transfer pricing) compliance and planning, preparing and reviewing working papers, and supporting statutory, internal, and forensic audits. The role involves drafting reports, organizing documentation, maintaining client files, and coordinating with clients to collect information and clarify queries. The Article Assistant will also contribute to assignments related to SME IPO preparation, startup incorporation and compliance, accounts outsourcing, and other advisory projects as required. The position provides structured learning, exposure to varied industries, and mentorship from senior professionals.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in accounting, auditing, and taxation principles, preferably pursuing or having completed professional qualifications such as CA or equivalent.
- Knowledge or interest in GST, direct tax, international tax (FEMA, transfer pricing), and related regulatory frameworks.
- Ability to work with financial data, prepare working papers, and support statutory, internal, and forensic audit engagements.
- Comfort with documentation, report drafting, and maintaining organized records for compliance and advisory assignments.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn relevant accounting and audit tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and willingness to learn in a structured, fast-paced professional environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Indore and commit to full-time working hours as per firm requirements.
