Role Description The Article Assistant will work full time at the firm’s on-site office in Noida. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in statutory and tax audits, supporting preparation and review of working papers, and maintaining proper documentation in line with professional standards. The role involves working on direct and indirect tax filings, compliances, and assessments under the guidance of senior team members. The Article Assistant will help with corporate law-related filings, basic research on accounting, taxation, and regulatory issues, and preparation of reports, schedules, and presentations for clients. The position also includes coordination with clients for information collection, updating internal records, and contributing to process improvements within the firm.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong fundamentals in accounting, auditing, taxation, and company law, with the ability to apply these concepts in practical assignments.
- Candidates should possess skills in documentation, working paper preparation, and basic financial analysis, with attention to accuracy and compliance.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with accounting or tax software; willingness to learn new tools is expected.
- Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Enrollment in the CA course and eligibility for articleship as per ICAI guidelines is required; prior internship experience in a CA firm will be an advantage.
- Candidates should possess a proactive attitude, integrity, willingness to learn, and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
