Role Description The Article Trainee will support audit, taxation, and compliance engagements under the guidance of senior team members in a full-time, on-site role based in Noida. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with GST and tax return preparation, working on reconciliations, supporting statutory and internal audits, and helping draft working papers and financial schedules. The trainee will help in documentation for certifications and attestation, contribute to basic financial analysis for advisory assignments, and maintain organized records in line with firm standards. The role also involves learning and applying relevant accounting, auditing, and tax provisions, coordinating with clients for data and clarifications, and participating in internal training to build technical and professional skills.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or having completed initial levels of CA, CMA, or an equivalent professional qualification, or a relevant commerce degree.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial statements, with willingness to learn advanced audit and tax concepts.
- Comfort with MS Excel, Word, and other productivity tools; ability to work with accounting and tax software (training will be provided).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret financial data accurately.
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare working papers and summaries.
- High level of integrity, ownership, and willingness to work in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with partners, seniors, and peers, and to interact professionally with clients.
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn, openness to feedback, and interest in building a long-term career in audit, taxation, and advisory.
