Role Description The Art Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging art lessons to students across appropriate grade levels in a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, organizing classroom activities, teaching various art techniques and styles, and guiding learners in drawing, painting, and other creative projects. The role involves assessing student work, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining a supportive, inclusive classroom environment. The Art Teacher will also contribute to curriculum development for art education, coordinate displays of student artwork, support school events and exhibitions, and collaborate with other teachers to integrate art into wider school initiatives.
Qualifications
- Ability to design effective Lesson Planning and contribute to Curriculum Development in alignment with school standards.
- Demonstrated Teaching and Art Education skills, with experience engaging diverse learners and encouraging creativity.
- Proficiency in Painting and related visual art techniques suitable for school-age learners.
- Degree or formal training in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience creating inclusive, supportive learning environments and working with students from varied backgrounds.
- Willingness to participate in school events, exhibitions, and cross-curricular projects.
- Prior teaching experience in a school setting is preferred.
