Role Description The Area Sales Manager role at Tilara Polyplast is a full-time, on-site position based in Surat. The individual will be responsible for managing sales operations within an assigned territory, including prospecting new clients, nurturing relationships with existing customers, and driving revenue growth across industrial, commercial, and residential segments. Daily activities include visiting clients, conducting product presentations and demonstrations, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely order processing and fulfillment in coordination with internal teams. The role involves monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and support strategic sales planning. The Area Sales Manager will also prepare regular sales reports, meet defined targets, and collaborate closely with marketing, logistics, and technical teams to deliver high-quality customer service and solutions.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and business development skills, including territory management, lead generation, and account management.
- Experience in relationship building and customer service, with the ability to understand client needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Competence in negotiation, presentation, and communication, both verbal and written.
- Ability to analyze market data, track competitor activity, and prepare clear sales reports and forecasts.
- Familiarity with building materials, construction, or related industrial products is highly beneficial.
- Comfort with using CRM systems, MS Office tools, and basic digital communication platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred; relevant experience in sales can substitute in some cases.
- Proactive, target-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently and collaborate within cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area and work on-site with clients.
