Role Description The ASM – Madurai role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Bengaluru Area, responsible for overseeing sales and market development for DKT’s portfolio in the assigned territory. The role includes managing and guiding field sales teams, planning and executing territory-wise sales strategies, and ensuring effective coverage of pharmacy retailers, healthcare providers, and distribution partners. Daily activities involve tracking sales performance, monitoring stock and merchandising, conducting regular market visits, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders. The ASM is expected to collaborate with marketing and operations teams, support product promotions and campaigns, and ensure adherence to company policies and quality standards. The role also requires preparing periodic reports, analyzing market trends and competitor activity, and driving sustainable growth aligned with DKT’s mission in sexual and reproductive health.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in territory sales management, preferably in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or FMCG sectors.
- Strong skills in team leadership, performance monitoring, and field force development.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with distributors, retailers, and healthcare professionals.
- Competence in sales planning, target achievement, and data-driven decision-making.
- Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English and local languages.
- Comfort with on-site field work, frequent market visits, and travel within the assigned territory.
- Graduate degree in Business, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related discipline; an MBA or equivalent is an advantage.
- Awareness of sexual and reproductive health products and commitment to mission-driven, socially impactful work.
