Job Description
We are looking for an experienced
Architect with strong hands-on experience specifically in Commercial and Retail projects such as corporate offices, retail stores, showrooms and other commercial spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle commercial and retail projects from concept/design development through execution.
- Prepare space plans, layouts, working drawings, elevations, sections and detailed drawings.
- Coordinate with clients, Project Managers, contractors, consultants, vendors and site teams.
- Conduct site visits and ensure proper implementation of approved designs and drawings.
- Coordinate material, finishes, lighting and other design requirements.
- Resolve design and site-related issues during project execution.
- Ensure projects meet required quality, design standards and timelines.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously wherever required.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Architecture or relevant qualification.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in Commercial and/or Retail projects.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD; knowledge of SketchUp and other relevant design software preferred.
- Good understanding of working drawings, detailing, materials and site execution.
- Strong client, vendor and contractor coordination skills.
- Candidates should preferably be based in Mumbai and comfortable working from Powai.
Mandatory Screening Criteria
Relevant
Commercial and/or Retail project experience is mandatory. Candidates with predominantly Residential project experience and candidates currently based outside Mumbai will not be considered, as this is an
on-site position based in Powai, Mumbai.
