Overview
SentraForge AI is building India’s sovereign AI ecosystem through advanced, secure and scalable AI infrastructure. The company is developing a 120 MW AI-focused Data Centre project in Odisha, with potential for further expansion and has received High-Level Clearance Authority (HLCA) approval from the Government of Odisha.
With a vision to strengthen India’s AI capabilities and digital sovereignty, SentraForge AI aims to power the next generation of AI innovation across government and enterprise sectors.
About the Role
SentraForge AI is looking for a full-time Architect with prior experience in data center projects
to join our team at our BKC office in Mumbai.
The role will work closely with the CEO’s Office, technical team, design consultants, EPC partners
and government stakeholders to support the planning and development of large-scale AI/data center
infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and review conceptual master plans, site layouts, building plans, sections and
architectural drawings for data center campuses.
• Coordinate with data center design consultants, MEP teams, structural engineers and EPC
partners.
• Support planning of data halls, utility areas, substations, DG yards, cooling
infrastructure, water systems, internal roads, parking, security and support buildings.
• Ensure layouts comply with applicable building bye-laws, development control
regulations, fire norms and statutory requirements.
• Work on land-use planning, FAR/FSI calculations, setbacks, open spaces, circulation
and area statements.
• Support modular and phased development planning for large data center campuses.
• Review consultant drawings and identify architectural/design gaps before submission.
• Coordinate with external architects, PMC/EPC teams and government planning authorities
as required.
• Assist in preparing drawings and documentation required for land allotment, approvals
and pre-construction clearances.
• Maintain design documentation, drawing revisions and approval trackers.
• Support future expansion planning without compromising current project requirements.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognised institution.
• Minimum 3 years of professional architectural experience.
• Prior experience working on data centers is required; experience with hyperscale,
colocation, mission-critical or large industrial facilities is preferred.
• Strong understanding of architectural planning, site development and coordination with
MEP/structural disciplines.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit/BIM, SketchUp or similar tools is
preferred.
• Good understanding of building codes, fire access, setbacks, parking, circulation and
statutory planning
