Position Title : Applications Analyst, SAP MM
Purpose/General Summary
The Applications Analyst – SAP Sourcing and Supply chain, is a key individual contributor role that has responsibility for solutioning SAP applications at Victoria Secret through designing and configuring business processes to deliver business capabilities. His/her primary role is to engage with business partners to understand requirements, facilitate business workshops, define a solution blueprint which maps the AS-IS and TO-BE business processes, work with SME from other applications to define integration points and dependencies, provide functional and operational oversight to application function teams globally on multiple projects and thereby ensuring that business and global SAP Centre of Excellence objectives and strategies are met. He/she will be working with cross functional and technical teams globally to identify, propose and implement technology solution.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Good understanding of end-to-end process for SAP Procure to Pay & Inventory Management.
Should have very good knowledge on SAP and Non-SAP System integrations such as SNC, GTS, BTP or any external interface such as EDI, Mule.
Should have worked on Integrations using IDOC (ALE) for SAP and Non-SAP systems.
Strong knowledge and experience of MM integration with SD, FI and GTS.
Added advantage having knowledge on SAP GTS Processes such as Customs management & Compliance Management.
Having knowledge and experience in IS Retail would be added advantage.
Good to have experience in Batch Job Monitoring systems and File Transfer Services.
Assist end users in identifying system issues and address them by providing application knowledge and technical expertise.
Should be able to independently analyse to Identify the route cause and address the issues.
SAP Query and Debugging skills would be an added advantage.
Should have experience working with Security team in setting up Roles and Authorization of business users.
Closely work with the team to monitor system health and address any performance issues.
Lead And Supports Project Implementations
Participates in gathering functional requirements in partnership with other application teams and prepares detailed functional specifications from which programs are written
Designs, configures, tests, debugs and documents programs
Collaborates with development teams for custom code
Identifies proactive ways to improve and/or simplify solutions
Provides technical mentoring to others
- Should be able to work with Global team across the region with strong interpersonal skills.
- Trains users in use of systems Participates in generation of user documentation
Qualifications
Education & Skill
- Preferably the candidate bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent combination of coursework (MBA) and experience.
- Role needs thorough understanding of Material Management processes and applying them in SAP
Work Expérience
- 4+ years of SAP MM with 2+ years of experience in retail environment.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience implementing SAP Project is must. S/4 Hana would be added advantage.
- At least 1 end to end full life cycle implementation is must.
- Minimum 2 years of SAP production support experience.
- EDI integrations (IDOC Knowledge) or knowledge any external interface with SAP is needed to perform effectively in this role.
- The candidate should have led workshop sessions with business stakeholder to build high level functional design and convert into detailed low level design documents.
- Prefer to understand development process in SAP S/4 HANA, UI5/FIORI development and exposure to HANA Enterprise Cloud Architecture.
- Demonstrated progression in roles in previous organization.
- Extensive experience in working in Cross functional team in a geographically distributed environment.
- Production support experience in the information systems department with comparable systems.
- Excellent Oral, Written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Solid presentation skills.
