Job Summary
Administer and operationalize the Cutover SaaS platform to build, govern, execute, and improve application runbooks for disaster recovery, environment changes, releases, and critical operational events. Ensure standardized, auditable, and predictable runbook execution across teams.
Responsibilities
- Administer Cutover workspaces, templates, user roles/access, and configurations.
- Build and maintain standardized runbook templates for DR tests, migrations, and operational events.
- Capture technical steps, dependencies, owners, prerequisites, validations, and rollback procedures.
- Conduct readiness reviews and dry runs; confirm owners, communications, and validation criteria.
- Facilitate Cutover execution, track tasks, manage blockers, escalations, and real-time status.
- Integrate runbooks with change/release processes, calendars, and maintenance windows.
- Manage runbook dashboards, reporting, completion metrics, cycle time, and outcomes.
- Maintain documentation/knowledge articles and provide team training and coaching.
- Drive PIRs, lessons learned, process improvements, and template enhancements.
Required Skills
- Experience administering or power-using Cutover.
- Hands-on IT Resilience, Incident Management/ITIL, and production support experience.
- Ability to convert technical procedures into clear, executable step-by-step tasks with ownership and acceptance criteria.
- Strong stakeholder management, cross-team coordination, and facilitation skills.
- Knowledge of SDLC, environment management, and deployment patterns such as blue/green, rolling, and canary.
- Familiarity with incident/problem management and post-event reviews.
- Strong documentation, attention to detail, governance, and audit-ready mindset.
- Ability to support fast-paced schedules, including after-hours maintenance windows when required.
Preferred Skills
- Financial services or other highly regulated environment experience.
- ServiceNow or comparable ITSM platforms, including change, incident, and CMDB.
- Basic reporting/data skills, KPI creation, trend analysis, and runbook data exports.
- Understanding of RBAC and least-privilege access management.
- Experience with DR exercises, major releases, or enterprise cutover events.
- Exposure to Agile/DevOps delivery models and release trains.
