We are looking for an experienced API Architect with 12+ years of total experience, including 5+ years of relevant architecture/integration experience and at least 2+ years of API experience.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in API architecture, microservices, enterprise integration and API management platforms, with proven experience designing and implementing scalable API-based enterprise platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and design enterprise API architecture and integration solutions.
- Define API architecture standards, patterns and best practices.
- Design scalable and high-performance API-based platforms.
- Lead transformation of monolithic applications into API-driven and microservices-based architectures.
- Design and implement REST APIs and enterprise integrations.
- Architect solutions using API gateways and management platforms.
- Work with Google Apigee, IBM Integration/IIB, IBM Gateway, Microsoft Azure and AWS.
- Work with Red Hat 3scale API Management for API management and governance.
- Design cloud-based integrations across enterprise applications.
- Ensure API performance, scalability, security and reliability.
- Collaborate with engineering, data and business teams on architecture decisions.
- Provide recommendations on design considerations, technology/tool selection and prioritization.
- Influence stakeholders and drive architectural decisions.
- Use enterprise architecture tools for architecture modeling, governance and compliance.
