About the Quality Council of India (QCI)
Quality Council of India was established as a National body for Accreditation and set up as an autonomous organisation with the support of the Government of India and Indian Industry represented by three premier industry associations, viz. ASSOCHAM, CII and FICCI, to work towards enhancing competitiveness and quality consciousness across domains. QCI has been working to promote the quality of products, processes and services through third-party assessment, quality monitoring and capacity-building initiatives, including awareness, training and sensitisation programmes. QCI has been engaged by several ministries and government institutions, including NITI Aayog, Ministry of MSME, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, and Ministry of Urban Development, as well as several state governments, on a variety of projects dedicated to improving quality.
About the Role
The Analyst: Media & Digital Communication will support the Sarpanch Samvaad initiative by creating engaging digital content, managing social media platforms and developing communication material to strengthen programme outreach. The role is ideal for candidates who enjoy visual storytelling, video editing and creating impactful digital content for diverse audiences.
The role will involve:
- Content creation for digital platforms
- Social media management
- Video editing and multimedia production
- Event communication and documentation
- Digital outreach and campaign support
Key Responsibility Areas
1. Content Creation
- Create engaging content for social media, including posts, carousels, reels, videos, stories and other digital communication materials.
- Develop presentations, brochures, newsletters, reports and training materials.
- Create simple infographics and visual content for programme communication.
- Ensure consistency in branding and communication across all platforms.
2. Social Media Management
- Manage content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and X.
- Assist in planning and executing digital campaigns and content calendars.
- Monitor engagement and prepare basic social media performance reports.
- Stay updated with social media trends and recommend innovative content ideas.
3. Event Communication & Documentation
- Support communication during workshops, trainings and programme events.
- Capture and edit photographs and videos from programme activities.
- Prepare event highlights, recap videos and post-event communication material.
4. Programme Support
- Work closely with programme teams to develop communication material for various initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners for content development.
- Support outreach and other communication activities as required.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Graphic Design, Fine Arts or any other relevant discipline.
Experience
- 0–2 years of experience in content creation, social media management, digital communication or video editing.
- Internship or freelance experience will also be considered.
- Candidates must submit a portfolio showcasing relevant work.
Skills
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro.
- Proficiency in Canva or similar creative tools.
- Experience managing social media platforms and creating digital content.
- Strong visual storytelling, creativity and attention to detail.
- Good communication, coordination and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and work collaboratively.
Other Requirements
- Passion for digital communication and grassroots development
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
