About the role
We're looking for an AI Image Generation Specialist to produce high-quality visual assets using generative AI tools. You'll turn creative briefs into finished imagery — product visuals, campaign creatives, concept art, and marketing collateral — working closely with our design, content and marketing teams. This is a hands-on craft role for someone who has spent the last year or two generating images professionally and knows how to get a specific result on purpose, not just a lucky one.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Generate original images from creative briefs using AI image tools, iterating until the output matches the intended concept, composition and brand look.
- Write, refine and document prompts — including negative prompts, style references, seeds and parameter settings — so results are repeatable rather than accidental.
- Use advanced controls where needed: image-to-image, inpainting and outpainting, pose and composition guidance, reference and character consistency, upscaling and variation workflows.
- Post-process and finish outputs in Photoshop or an equivalent editor — cleanup, compositing, colour correction, retouching artefacts and hands/text errors, background work.
- Maintain visual consistency across a campaign or product line, including recurring characters, styles and brand palettes.
- Build and maintain a library of prompts, style presets, reference sets and approved assets for reuse across the team.
- Deliver assets in the correct formats, resolutions and aspect ratios for web, social, print and product surfaces.
- Keep pace with new models, tools and techniques, and test them against our real use cases. Follow usage, licensing and content guidelines for every tool and asset used.
What we're looking for
- Required 1–2 years of hands-on experience producing images with AI generation tools in a professional or freelance capacity.
- Strong prompt-engineering ability — you can explain why an output looks the way it does and how to change it deliberately.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop (or Affinity Photo / equivalent) for retouching and compositing.
- A solid eye for composition, lighting, colour and typography-in-image issues.
- A portfolio of AI-generated work with an explanation of your process on a few pieces.
- Ability to take feedback and turn around revisions quickly.
- Comfortable working on-site in Chennai.
Good to have
- Previous experience working with fashion brands, apparel labels or lifestyle retail — whether in-house, at an agency or freelance.
- Familiarity with lookbooks, e-commerce catalogue imagery, editorial/campaign shoots, model and garment consistency, fabric texture and drape, and seasonal collection workflows is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with AI video generation — not required, but a plus.
- Experience with node-based generation workflows, custom style model training or fine-tuning.
- Background in graphic design, illustration, photography or 3D.
- Exposure to brand guidelines and marketing/advertising workflows.
- Basic understanding of image licensing, copyright and AI content disclosure norms.
