Job Title: AI/ML Architect & Lead – Generative AI / Agentic AI

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced AI/ML Architect & Lead with strong hands-on expertise in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI, Machine Learning, RAG, and enterprise AI solutions.
The ideal candidate will combine hands-on AI/ML engineering, solution architecture, technical leadership, and client engagement skills. The role involves designing and delivering scalable AI solutions, leading AI engineering teams, working with business and technology stakeholders, and taking AI initiatives from ideation and POC through production deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, architecture, and deployment of AI/ML and Generative AI solutions.
- Design enterprise-grade solutions using LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI, NLP, Machine Learning, and conversational AI.
- Build and implement LLM applications, AI agents, RAG pipelines, vector search, and intelligent automation workflows.
- Develop prompt engineering strategies, model evaluation frameworks, and structured prompting solutions.
- Fine-tune, evaluate, optimize, and deploy AI/ML and LLM models.
- Design scalable AI architectures integrating with enterprise applications, APIs, microservices, databases, and data platforms.
- Lead and mentor AI/ML engineers and provide technical direction across AI initiatives.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, architects, engineering, cloud, security, and delivery teams.
- Engage with clients and business stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into practical AI solutions.
- Conduct AI discovery, solutioning, architecture, and technical workshops.
- Lead POCs and accelerate successful AI solutions from prototype to production.
- Review technical designs, code, architecture, performance, scalability, security, and deployment approaches.
- Establish best practices around MLOps/LLMOps, model monitoring, evaluation, governance, security, privacy, and responsible AI.
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies and apply innovative approaches to real-world business problems.
- Support technical presentations, solution proposals, RFP/RFI responses, demos, and AI consulting engagements where required.
Mandatory Technical Skills
- 8+ years of experience in AI/ML, software engineering, architecture, or related technology roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLM-based applications.
- Strong knowledge of:

- Experience with LLMs such as OpenAI, Llama, Mistral, Claude, Qwen, or equivalent models.
- Practical experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, FAISS, ChromaDB, Weaviate, Azure AI Search, or equivalent.
- Experience building AI services using FastAPI, Flask, REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise integrations.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of Docker, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with model deployment, monitoring, optimization, and productionization.
AI/ML & Data Expertise
- Classical Machine Learning and Deep Learning.

- Experience leading and mentoring AI/ML engineering teams.

- Ability to explain complex AI concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions.
- Experience interacting with senior technology/business stakeholders and clients.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to drive AI initiatives from business problem → solution architecture → POC → production.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
