Role Overview
The AI Governance & Security Administrator is responsible for securely administering and governing ArchLynk’s enterprise AI tools, including Microsoft 365 Copilot and Claude enterprise connectors. The role focuses on ensuring that AI-enabled access to company and client information is appropriately scoped, controlled, documented, and aligned with least-privilege access, data classification, confidentiality obligations, and applicable compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer approved Microsoft 365 Copilot configurations, including data access scoping through SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and related Microsoft 365 permissions.
- Support the use of Microsoft Purview controls, including sensitivity labels, retention policies, DLP rules, audit trails, and information protection settings relevant to AI-enabled access.
- Administer or support enterprise AI connectors, including Claude connectors, Microsoft Graph connectors, Salesforce integrations, and other approved knowledge-source integrations.
- Ensure AI tools expose only approved, authoritative, and current content sources, with appropriate restrictions for confidential, client-specific, or sensitive information.
- Monitor AI tool and connector usage for alignment with data minimization, least-privilege access, and client confidentiality requirements.
- Maintain administrative and governance documentation in approved systems of record, such as SharePoint or Teams, rather than unmanaged or ad hoc files.
- Coordinate with IT, compliance, data protection, HR, and business stakeholders to support AI governance reviews, access reviews, exception handling, and policy implementation.
- Escalate access exceptions, policy deviations, and cross-client confidentiality risks to the appropriate approver before changes are implemented.
Required Experience
- 3+ years administering Microsoft 365 security, compliance, identity, or collaboration tooling, such as Entra ID, Defender, Purview, SharePoint, OneDrive, or Teams.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 data governance controls, including permissions management, sensitivity labels, retention policies, DLP, audit logging, and access reviews.
- Experience supporting secure rollout, administration, or governance of enterprise technology platforms in a consulting, professional services, or multi-client environment.
- Understanding of GDPR principles as they apply to enterprise AI and data access, including data minimization, purpose limitation, retention alignment, and confidentiality controls.
- Ability to document configurations, governance decisions, access rules, exceptions, and operating procedures clearly and consistently.
- Strong coordination skills, with the ability to work across IT, compliance, business operations, and data owners to implement approved controls.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Microsoft 365 Copilot governance, AI access controls, or similar enterprise AI tooling.
- Experience configuring enterprise AI connectors such as Claude connectors, Microsoft Graph connectors, Salesforce integrations, or other knowledge-source integrations.
- Microsoft certifications such as SC-300, SC-400, or equivalent security, compliance, or identity credentials.
- Experience in a professional services or consulting firm with multi-client confidentiality requirements.
- Prior involvement in AI governance policy drafting, AI tool rollout planning, or internal compliance control implementation.
- Familiarity with ISO 42001, the EU AI Act, CCPA, or other relevant AI, privacy, or information governance frameworks.
