About the Role:
The AI / ML Engineer builds intelligent systems that power fraud detection, credit risk
modelling, transaction monitoring, and financial automation. The role also involves
developing LLM-enabled solutions and AI-driven automation integrated with fintech
platforms.
What will you be doing?
• Develop machine learning models for fraud detection and credit risk analysis.
• Implement transaction anomaly detection models.
• Design pipelines for model training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Integrate AI models with fintech systems via APIs.
• Implement LLM-based automation for financial insights and workflows.
• Monitor model performance and maintain retraining pipelines.
Tech Stacks?
• Core: Python (expert), SQL, system design, strong SWE fundamentals
• ML: PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, scikit-learn, XGBoost
• LLM/GenAI: RAG in production (chunking, hybrid retrieval, reranking, eval)
LangChain / LangGraph / LlamaIndex
Fine-tuning with LoRA/QLoRA, PEFT, TRL
Anthropic / OpenAI APIs and open-weight models (Llama, Qwen, Mistral)
• Vector DBs: Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, or pgvector
• Inference: vLLM, FastAPI, quantization (GPTQ/AWQ/GGUF)
• MLOps: MLflow or W&B, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Airflow
• Cloud: AWS, GCP, or Azure (one deep)
• Eval: LangSmith / LangFuse, Ragas, LLM-as-judge
Who are you?
• Develop machine learning models for fraud detection and credit risk analysis.

• Fintech Experience in banking applications, payments, lending, or financial
workflows will be preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
