Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Agriculture Drone Pilot role based in Nanded, Maharashtra. The Agriculture Drone Pilot will operate agricultural drones for spraying, crop health monitoring, and data collection across designated farm areas. Daily responsibilities include planning flight routes, conducting pre-flight and post-flight inspections, ensuring safe and compliant drone operations, and maintaining drone equipment. The role also involves coordinating with farmers and field staff, documenting flight activities, and reporting on field conditions and application results. The pilot may support training sessions for team members or farmers on basic drone usage and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Strong drone operation skills, including Drone Piloting and hands-on experience with agricultural Drones and UAV platforms.
- Solid piloting capabilities with an understanding of Piloting best practices, flight safety, and basic navigation principles.
- Ability to provide or support Training on drone usage, safety procedures, and basic maintenance for team members or farmers.
- Knowledge of agriculture or agronomy, especially crop patterns, field operations, and safe chemical handling for spray applications.
- Attention to detail, ability to follow operating procedures, and commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
- Physical ability to work in field conditions and travel between farm locations as required.
- Relevant drone certification or license (as per local regulations) and prior experience in drone-based agricultural operations are preferred.
