Role Description The Admissions Counselor is a full-time, remote role responsible for guiding prospective learners through the admissions process at Sapmate Skill Academy. Day-to-day tasks include responding to inquiries via phone, email, and online channels; explaining program offerings, schedules, and admission requirements; and assisting candidates in selecting suitable courses based on their background and goals. The role involves conducting consultations, following up with leads, and maintaining accurate records in the admissions system. The Admissions Counselor will collaborate with training and support teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience and will contribute to outreach activities that promote academy programs.
Qualifications
- Strong Interpersonal Communication and Communication skills to engage with prospective learners and stakeholders.
- Customer Service skills to provide clear information, handle inquiries, and support a positive admissions experience.
- Sales skills to effectively present programs, address concerns, and guide candidates toward enrollment decisions.
- Understanding of Education environments, training programs, or academic counseling processes.
- Ability to work remotely in a structured, self-managed way, with reliable internet and professional work habits.
- Comfort using CRM or admissions management tools and basic office software for tracking leads and documentation.
- Previous experience in admissions, counseling, IT training, or related fields is an advantage.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Education, Counseling, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.
