Role Description The Admission Counsellor role at PW is a full-time, on-site position based in Purnia. The Admission Counsellor will guide prospective learners and families through the admission process, providing clear information about courses, fees, eligibility, and learning outcomes. This role involves handling inquiries via walk-ins, phone calls, and digital channels, conducting counselling sessions, and recommending suitable programs based on learners’ goals and academic backgrounds. The counsellor will maintain accurate records of leads and admissions, follow up with prospective learners, and collaborate with academic and operations teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience. The role may also involve participating in outreach activities, events, and seminars to promote PW’s offerings and support enrollment targets.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Communication and Communication skills to effectively counsel learners and interact with families and colleagues.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to manage queries, resolve concerns, and deliver a supportive and professional experience to all prospective learners.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to manage leads, conduct follow-ups, and contribute to meeting admission and enrollment goals ethically and transparently.
- Candidates should possess Education-related understanding and interest to explain academic programs, learning outcomes, and career pathways clearly.
- Relevant experience in admissions, counselling, education services, or customer-facing roles is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Purnia, manage multiple inquiries, and maintain accurate documentation and reports.
- Basic proficiency with computers and CRM or lead management tools is beneficial.
- A graduate degree in any discipline is preferred; additional certifications in counselling, education management, or related fields are an advantage.
