Role Description The Accounts Payable Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Panchkula. This role oversees the end-to-end accounts payable function, including reviewing and processing vendor invoices, verifying supporting documentation, and ensuring timely payments. The Accounts Payable Manager will manage accruals, prepare and post journal entries, reconcile vendor statements, and maintain accurate records in accordance with accounting policies. The role includes monitoring aging reports, resolving payment discrepancies, coordinating with vendors and internal teams, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The Accounts Payable Manager will also implement process improvements, ensure compliance with internal controls, and assist in budgeting and cash-flow planning related to payables.
Qualifications
- Strong Accounting foundation, including practical experience with Journal Entries (Accounting) and Accruals.
- Solid Finance knowledge and understanding of accounts payable processes and cost control in a hospitality environment.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills for reviewing invoices, identifying discrepancies, and interpreting financial data.
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel, including reconciliations and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.
- Experience managing accounts payable or similar finance function, preferably in hospitality or property management.
- Ability to lead and mentor team members, organize workloads, and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, integrity, and effective communication skills for vendor and internal stakeholder coordination.
