Role Description-:
- This is a full-time Accountant / Bookkeeper (Indian & US Accounting) role based in Noida with a hybrid work arrangement, combining work from office with some flexibility for work from home.
- The role involves managing day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, and financial records for clients operating in India and the U.S., including maintaining ledgers, posting journal entries, and reconciling bank and credit card statements.
- The Accountant / Bookkeeper will handle accounts payable and receivable, prepare GST, TDS, and income tax workings, support payroll-related entries, and assist with monthly and annual closing activities.
- Responsibilities also include preparing financial reports, supporting statutory and internal audits, coordinating with tax and compliance teams on cross-border transactions, and ensuring adherence to Indian and U.S. accounting and regulatory requirements.
- The role requires proactive communication with internal teams and clients, timely completion of assignments, and accurate documentation of all financial activities.
Qualifications-:
- Candidates should possess strong skills in core accounting and bookkeeping, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable management.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Indian accounting and taxation, such as GST, TDS, income tax computations, and familiarity with MCA/ROC-related financial compliance.
- Candidates should possess working knowledge of U.S. accounting practices, basic IRS-related compliance concepts, and handling cross-border transactions between Indian and U.S. entities.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and tools (e.g., Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks or similar), MS Excel, and basic financial reporting and analysis.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, time management, and the ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines.
- Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with legal, compliance, and advisory teams and interact professionally with clients.
- A relevant academic background such as Semi-Qualified CA, B.Com, M.Com
