Role Description This full-time remote Accountant role focuses on delivering high-quality outsourced accounting services to Reliabledger’s clients. On a day-to-day basis, the Accountant will manage bookkeeping tasks, including recording daily transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing month-end closings. The role includes preparing accurate financial statements and management reports, handling accounts payable and receivable, and supporting cash flow management. The Accountant will assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to provide clients with actionable insights. This position involves collaborating with client teams, adhering to internal controls and compliance standards, and using cloud-based accounting tools to ensure efficient, secure, and timely service delivery.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong general accounting skills, including bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.
- Candidates should possess skills in financial reporting and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Candidates should possess skills in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections follow-up.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and cloud-based tools, and be comfortable working with spreadsheets and financial data systems.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with clients and internal teams in a remote environment.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field are preferred; professional certifications (e.g., CPA or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Experience in outsourced accounting, shared services, or working with multiple client accounts is beneficial, along with familiarity with international or cross-border accounting practices.
