Role Description The Accountant role at KSPL is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank and vendor accounts. The Accountant will prepare invoices, process payments and receipts, support payroll processing, and assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports. Responsibilities also include monitoring accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely compliance with tax and statutory requirements, and supporting internal and external audits. The role requires close collaboration with operations and management teams to provide accurate financial data, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and help strengthen internal financial controls.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in general accounting principles, including ledger management, journal entries, and reconciliation of accounts.
- Proficiency in accounting software (such as Tally, QuickBooks, or similar ERP tools) and advanced MS Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of Indian taxation, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance requirements, with experience in filing returns and supporting audits.
- Ability to prepare and interpret financial statements, budgets, and cash flow reports, and provide clear financial insights to management.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong ethical standards, integrity, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of financial information.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-evolving technology environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA-Inter, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
