Company Description Accountico Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. is looking to hire a Management Accountant to support UK-based clients with monthly accounting, payroll processing, CIS compliance, and VAT returns. This role focuses on ongoing monthly accounting and compliance activities with structured processes and defined responsibilities. Comprehensive training on internal systems, workflows, templates, and quality standards will be provided.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Ghaziabad.
1. Monthly Accounting & Management Reporting • Preparation of monthly management accounts for UK clients • Bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations • Posting and review of accruals and prepayments • Fixed asset accounting and depreciation • Review of profit & loss and balance sheet movements • Identification and escalation of accounting errors or inconsistencies
2. UK Payroll Processing • Processing of monthly and weekly UK payrolls • Handling starters, leavers, salary revisions, and payroll changes • Basic handling of statutory payments (SSP, SMP, etc.) • Payroll reconciliations and validation of payroll outputs prior to submission
3. Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) • Preparation and submission of monthly CIS returns • Subcontractor verification and CIS deductions • Preparation of CIS statements • CIS control account reconciliations
4. VAT Returns• Preparation and submission of UK VAT returns • Experience with Standard VAT Scheme and Flat Rate Scheme (FRS) • VAT reconciliations between accounting records and VAT returns • Identification of VAT risks and timely escalation to senior team members
Software & Technical Skills
• Xero – strong hands-on experience required
• QuickBooks Online (QBO) – working knowledge preferred
• Exposure to UK payroll software (BrightPay, PayFit, or similar)
• MS Excel – reconciliations, formulas, and basic data analysis
Education & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
• CA (Inter) / CMA (Inter) / ACCA (Part-qualified) preferred
• Equivalent qualification or practical experience in UK accounting Experience Requirements
• 2–5 years of hands-on UK accounting experience
• Practical exposure to monthly accounting cycles, UK payroll, CIS compliance, and VAT returns
• Prior experience working with UK accounting firms or UK clients is mandatory
