The Role
The Accounts and Admin Executive (AAE) role involves functions that blend general office administration with core accounting tasks, such as processing invoices, managing payables/receivables, handling payroll, reconciling bank statements, and providing financial reporting support, all essential to a company's financial health and daily operations. The position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with accounting software (such as Tally) for tasks including data entry, scheduling, and maintaining financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, track payments, manage expenses, and ensure timely payments.
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate ledgers, bookkeeping, and performing bank reconciliations.
- GST and tax filings.
- Prepare financial statements, assist with budgeting, and perform variance analysis.
- General Administration: Data entry, scheduling meetings, managing supplies, and supporting management.
Skills Needed
- High Ethics
- Strong mathematical & analytical abilities.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP) and Excel.
- Excellent organisation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or BBA/B.Com, with certifications
- Strong skills in accounting software (Tally), Excel, data entry, and attention to detail
Salary
Approximately 1+ years of experience qualify you for the Junior AAE role. (Between INR 25,000 and 35,000 per month in hand)
2+ or more years of experience qualify you for the Senior AAE role. (Between INR 35,000 and 40,000 per month in hand)
