Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and student-focused Academic Counsellor to guide students and parents in selecting suitable academic programs, courses, and career pathways. The candidate will be responsible for counselling prospective students, handling enquiries, supporting the admissions process, and achieving enrolment targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents regarding available courses, programs, and academic opportunities.
- Understand students' educational background, interests, and career goals.
- Provide accurate information about course eligibility, fees, duration, admission procedures, and career opportunities.
- Handle enquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp, email, and walk-in enquiries.
- Follow up with prospective students and convert enquiries into admissions.
- Maintain regular communication with students throughout the admission process.
- Assist students with application forms, documentation, and admission formalities.
- Maintain accurate records of counselling sessions, enquiries, and admissions.
- Achieve assigned counselling and admission targets.
- Coordinate with academic, admissions, and other internal teams.
- Participate in education fairs, seminars, workshops, and promotional activities when required.
- Stay updated on courses, admission requirements, educational trends, and career opportunities.
