Role Description The Article Assistant role at H P N & COMPANY is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhopal. The role involves assisting in statutory and internal audits, supporting tax computations and filings, and helping prepare financial statements and working papers. The Article Assistant will perform ledger scrutiny, vouching, documentation, and basic analytical review under the guidance of senior team members. The role includes maintaining accurate records, coordinating with clients for data collection, and adhering to professional standards and deadlines. The position offers practical training, exposure to multiple industries, and progressive responsibility as skills develop.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or having completed initial stages of Chartered Accountancy (CA) or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Foundational knowledge of accounting principles, auditing concepts, and basic taxation (direct and indirect taxes).
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word) and ability to work with accounting software or ERPs.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to follow structured processes and documentation standards.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Capability to manage time, meet deadlines, and work on multiple assignments under supervision.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and maintain high ethical and confidentiality standards in all engagements.
- Prior internship or practical exposure in audit, accounting, or tax will be an added advantage but is not mandatory.
