Role Description: The 3D Modeler will be responsible for creating detailed architectural models and environments that support cinematic films, animations, and photo-realistic renders. In this full-time remote role, the 3D Modeler will interpret architectural plans and design briefs, build accurate 3D assets, refine geometry and topology, and collaborate with artists and directors to maintain visual consistency and quality. Day-to-day tasks include creating environment, setting up scenes, applying materials and textures and preparing assets for animation and rendering pipelines. The 3D Modeler will also participate in project reviews, incorporate feedback efficiently, and ensure deliverables meet technical and creative standards within project timelines.
Qualifications:
- Strong 3D Design and 3D Modelling skills with experience as a Modeler in architectural visualization or similar fields.
- Proficiency in SketchUp for modelling, texturing, scene setup, and integration into rendering and animation workflows.
- Experience with medium-large scale architectural and real estate projects would be a big plus.
- Applied knowledge of Lighting for realistic and cinematic visual outcomes, including materials, shadows, and atmosphere.
- Familiarity with additional 3D or rendering tools (e.g., 3ds Max, D5 render, Chaos corona, Unreal Engine) is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, CAD files, and design references with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong visual storytelling sense, with an understanding of composition, camera placement, and scene mood.
- Effective remote collaboration skills, including clear communication, time management, and responsiveness to feedback.
- Relevant education or training in 3D art, architecture, design, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
