Job details:
Location: Hyderabad | Full-time, In-office
About the Role
You'll be building 3D assets for a digital twin of an industrial facility. The assets cover various industrial systems and equipment — modelled in Blender, exported as GLBs, and integrated into a web-based real-time viewer. There will be a learning curve on the pipeline side, but if you're comfortable in Blender, you'll pick it up quickly.
What You'll Do
- Model industrial assets from scratch in Blender — level of detail varies by use case
- Technical context for each asset will be provided — reference diagrams, P&IDs, videos, or part breakdowns — so you're never working blind
- Set up materials and lighting with a clean, purposeful aesthetic
- Manage asset hierarchies, naming, and export settings for Three.js integration
- Collaborate with a Three.js developer on asset handoff and integration
- Handle scene layouts and compositions for different screen sizes and views
- Experiment with materials and presentation — having an eye for how things look matters here
What We're Looking For
- Solid Blender skills — modelling, materials, hierarchy management
- Good aesthetic sensibility
- Curious and self-directed — someone who likes figuring things out
- Basic or working knowledge of Python scripting in Blender is a plus
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with GLB/glTF format and how Three.js consumes 3D assets
- Experience or interest in Blender MCP and Claude-assisted workflows
- Background in architectural, product, or engineering visualization
Experience
No hard requirement — roughly 1–2 years with Blender is a reasonable baseline, but skill and curiosity matter more than years.
- Hyderabad-based candidates preferred. Role starts full-time in-office and can move to hybrid.
- Please attach a link to your portfolio in your resume as well!
