Role OverviewThe Director – Warehouse & Logistics Operations will lead the company’s end-to-end warehousing strategy, logistics execution, export cargo management, and supply chain optimization initiatives. This role requires building scalable warehouse infrastructure, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing technology-driven logistics systems to support global export operations.

Key Responsibilities📦 Warehouse Strategy & Operations
- Develop and implement the company’s warehouse and distribution strategy aligned with export growth plans.
- Establish and manage multi-location warehousing infrastructure, including bonded warehouses and export consolidation hubs.
- Optimize storage planning, inventory control systems, and material handling processes.
- Design SOPs to improve productivity, turnaround time, and operational efficiency.
🚚 Logistics & Supply Chain Management
- Oversee domestic and international logistics including freight forwarding, cargo handling, and last-mile delivery coordination.
- Manage relationships with logistics vendors, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transport partners.
- Lead export shipment planning, container utilization, and cargo consolidation strategies.
- Implement cost optimization frameworks across transportation and storage operations.
🌐 Export & Trade Compliance
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, export documentation, and international trade policies.
- Coordinate with customs authorities, port officials, and regulatory agencies.
- Oversee documentation workflows including invoices, packing lists, bill of lading, and shipping documentation.
- Maintain compliance with DGFT, customs, and international trade standards.
🤖 Technology & Process Innovation
- Implement and manage Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and logistics automation platforms.
- Drive digitization initiatives including inventory analytics, tracking dashboards, and IoT-based warehouse monitoring.
- Introduce AI and data analytics for demand forecasting and supply chain optimization.
👥 Leadership & Team Management
- Build and lead warehouse, logistics, and supply chain teams across locations.
- Develop training programs for operational staff and supervisors.
- Establish performance metrics and continuous improvement frameworks.
💰 Budgeting & Cost Optimization
- Develop logistics budgets and monitor operational expenses.
- Identify cost reduction opportunities while maintaining service quality.
- Monitor KPIs such as inventory turnover, order fulfillment time, and freight cost efficiency.

Eligibility & Qualifications- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
- Supply Chain Management
- Logistics & Operations
- International Trade / Export Management
- Industrial Engineering
- MBA (Operations / Logistics / Supply Chain) preferred

Experience Requirements- 10+ years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Proven experience in export-oriented supply chain operations is highly preferred.
- Experience in handling large warehouse facilities and multi-location logistics networks.
- Exposure to bonded warehouses, export consolidation hubs, or freight forwarding operations is an advantage.
