Playwright Automation Agile Test Analyst – | SAFe | Baseline Clearance

Location: Any major city in Australia (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide, Perth, Darwin, Hobart)

Security Requirement: Australian Citizenship with Baseline Security Clearance

We are seeking experienced Playwright Automation Agile Test Analyst to work as part of Agile Scrum Teams in a large-scale government program. You will contribute to Agile Release Train (ART) events, support delivery of Program Increment (PI) plans, and help ensure high-quality, secure, and testable product outcomes.

This role involves close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders to design, execute, and report on comprehensive system and integration testing.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business users and Agile teams to understand workflows, clarify acceptance criteria, and design risk-based tests
  • Build and maintain test cases using structured test design techniques
  • Perform functional and integration testing within sprint timeframes
  • Participate in cross-team and end-to-end testing of regular releases
  • Identify and manage test data requirements to support test coverage
  • Perform structured exploratory testing to uncover system issues and edge cases
  • Log and communicate defects clearly, assist with defect reproduction, and test resolved issues
  • Identify test scenarios suitable for automation
  • Contribute to testing standards and practices across Communities of Practice
  • Support consistent delivery metrics as part of Agile Release Train cadence

 

Personnel Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in manual and/or automated system and integration testing for large-scale systems
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in Agile delivery environments within multi-disciplinary teams
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps test management and tracking
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or related discipline
  • Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills with the ability to self-manage priorities
  • Clear communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Scrum, Kanban, and Digital Service Standard
  • High proficiency in Azure DevOps and Miro
  • Experience in government or regulated environments highly regarded
  • Experience in Playwright
