About the role

We’re looking for Site Reliability Engineering Interns to join our engineering team. Reporting to an Engineering manager, you’ll be responsible for: Collaborate with engineers to design and implement automation tools for operational efficiency. Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment processes. Create dashboards and alerts to monitor system health and performance. Work on incident management automation, ensuring fast and effective response times. What We’re Looking For (Minimum Qualifications) Rising Sophomore or Junior actively pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field in progress Proficiency in at least one programming language like Python, Go, or Bash. Understanding of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting. Familiarity with monitoring tools or frameworks (e.g., Prometheus, Nagios). What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker or orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. Experience creating dashboards with tools like Grafana, Datadog, or Splunk. Interest in building automated solutions for incident management and response. Example Projects You Might Work On Automate runbooks for incident management and integrate them with monitoring systems. Build dashboards and alerting mechanisms to monitor the health of large-scale distributed systems. Develop CI/CD pipelines to streamline software deployment processes. Create automated testing suites to ensure the reliability of critical infrastructure components. Design tools to analyze and optimize system performance under various workloads.
