Role Overview:


The SEO Manager will be responsible for developing and executing effective SEO strategies, improving organic traffic, and enhancing overall search engine performance. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, content insight, and performance analysis to optimize Zouma’s online presence.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy aligned with business objectives

  • Perform regular keyword research to identify growth opportunities

  • Optimize website architecture, content, metadata, and landing pages for SEO

  • Conduct on-page, off-page, and technical SEO audits and implement improvements

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.

  • Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated

  • Build and execute a backlink acquisition strategy through outreach and partnerships

  • Stay up-to-date with search engine algorithm changes and industry trends

  • Identify and troubleshoot SEO issues affecting website performance and rankings

  • Create SEO performance reports and present key findings and insights to stakeholders



Requirements

Key Requirements:

  • Proven 3–5 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in a fast-paced digital or e-commerce environment

  • Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Moz)

  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other performance tracking platforms

  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Webflow)

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights

  • Experience in content optimization, link-building, and local SEO strategies

  • Knowledge of paid search (Google Ads) is a plus



Educational Qualification:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field

  • Certifications in SEO, Google Analytics, or Digital Marketing are a plus
